The group was taken at a Cameron Highlanders territorial camp around about 1937 . Two of the group Robert Dumbar and Jim Stewart were killed in World War 2.

Braxie Ball Committee c1977
The Braxie Ball was an annual ticked event held around October in Stratherrick Hall , its function was to raise funds for things like the OAP Xmas lunch , children's Xmas parties ect. The event was eagerly anticipated , and locals now domiciled in other areas would make their way back home for ball to renew old friendships . It lasted about 3 years and the band playing were the Wallochmor Ceilidh Band one of the top Scottish dance bands around that time. ckie Cameron Milk Cart .
The Camerons Glenlia Farm were one of the suppliers of milk to Foyers Village . This picture taken in the early thirties, shows Eckie delivering milk carried on the cart round the village. The milk was carried in churns with a tap at bottom and measured pints were dispensed into containers supplied by the customers. The two boys also in picture are, on the left George Macdonald (Teep) and Murdo Williams .
