The Boleskine Bulletin ran for 69 issues, from Winter 1997 to Winter 2014, publishing quarterly. Its original aim was to keep all households in Stratherrick and Foyers informed of discussions and decisions taken at Community Council meetings. Along the way it reported on happy times such as births, marriages, exam successes and much more and also reported on sadder occasions. It contained articles on gardening, walking and even had a resident cartoonist for a while. Clicking on any date in the table below will open a pdf file of the issue for that date. Some of the later files are quite large and may take a few moments to open on your PC, tablet or mobile depending on your download speed. Enjoy.

  • Fantastic job archiving the bulletin. It always kept me in touch in distant dumfries.

  • I came across the picture of Rachel and I in Boleskine school picture 1975, was not even aware of this, O my how time has passed, Mrs Chisholm in the post office Gorthleck, and Mrs MacDonald school Head teacher.

    Thank you for the memories.

    Kind Regards

    Marina
