The Church of Scotland was built by the United Free Church in 1907. It was a prefabricated corrugated iron building bought from Spears and Co, Glasgow and erected by local tradesmen . In 1929 the United Free Church amalgamated with the Established Church of Scotland and became one of their churches in the Boleskine parish. The church continued to be used till 1987 and then closed with the congregation moving to the Drumtemple or Dores, Churches of Scotland .
Interior of Drumtemple/Boleskine Church of Scotland set out for communion . Note the greenery with the dates 1787 and 1987 celebrating its two hundred anniversary . The original church was down in Foyers at Boleskine Cemetery , then a new one was built in 1787 at Drumtemple. Then in the early 1900 a Church was built at Foyers and shortly afterwards two tin churches were built in Foyers and Errogie for the United Free Church . Photograph courtesy of Fiona Larg
