Boleskine School Well was probable built in approx 1879, in conjunction with the erection of a new school at Boleskine to provide water for the pupil’s attending the school, as it had no piped water supply . This water supply for the pupil’s was used up till the mid nineteen twenties at least, and the well had a copper cup on a chain for the children to drink out of it.
