Elmbank on the site of Foyers Mansion house at Lower Foyers pictured around the 1930s. The wooden structure to the left was used for accomodation of single workers of the BA factory. At the far end nearest the factory was a general grocers shop run by Roddie MacKenzie who also had a travelling van shop about the district. Most recently it was used as an Out-Reach Centre for youngsters. Photograph courtesy of Roger Creegan.
